Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative III to join their team in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing and collection of accounts receivable for inpatient and outpatient accounts, ensuring timely resolution and payment collection
• Perform daily work assignments accurately and in accordance with productivity and quality standards
• Resolve complex customer service issues and educate patients on their financial responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a medical billing office or relevant field
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and insurance reimbursement
• Proficiency in using multiple systems and applications for account resolution
• Experience with medical terminology, CPT-4, and ICD-10 coding
• Ability to mentor staff and support team leadership
