A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute time and attendance processing and ensure compliance with payroll policies
- Generate and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring accurate calculations and timely submissions of payroll taxes
- Assist with payroll discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and support annual audits and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Experience processing multi-state payroll; Canadian payroll experience is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, and payroll taxes
- Five years or more of related experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field is preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification and HCM Dayforce experience are a plus
