Key Responsibilities

• Submit prior authorizations to insurance companies and ensure timely prescription coverage for patients
• Verify insurance coverage and prescription formularies to facilitate payment of prescriptions
• Maintain accurate documentation of authorizations and address patient inquiries regarding their authorization status

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with personal computers, including word processing and electronic spreadsheets
• Preferably one year or more of experience in office work
• Knowledge of chemical dependency and its effects on individuals, families, and communities
