Principal Seismic Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Seismic Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct civil/structural design activities, including evaluation of soil-structure-interaction effects and characterization of dynamic soil properties
• Address technical issues related to seismic analysis and provide technical justification for design changes
• Provide on-site support for utilities and smaller civil/structural projects

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in civil or structural engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Experience in the nuclear industry
• Knowledge of seismic analysis and soil-structure-interaction analysis
• Familiarity with industry civil/structural codes such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, and AWS standards
