Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician I - Prior Authorization.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from providers, pharmacies, and members with professional assistance
- Navigate the prior authorization process and document all calls accurately
- Perform outbound calls and review prior authorizations received via fax and electronic methods
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume call center or customer service position, preferably in healthcare or social services
- High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Must have a private, secure workspace free from distractions during work hours
- Must provide own high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload)
