Senior Precertification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior UM Unit Precertification Specialist (Non-Exempt) - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete precertification, notification, and authorization for patient admissions in a timely manner
• Manage work queues related to Utilization Management and support revenue cycle functions
• Act as a Preceptor for onboarding new coworkers in the department

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare precertification and authorization functions
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and claim charging guidelines
• High proficiency in computer applications and electronic processes
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively
