Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead platform development for a cloud-hosted cybersecurity training platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for the platform, overseeing architecture and implementation
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative culture and supporting career development
• Guide the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Azure-based microservices while implementing DevSecOps best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in leadership or management roles in cloud-based environments
• Experience deploying and maintaining production systems in Microsoft Azure, including Kubernetes-based applications
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies (React, JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend services (Golang, Python)
• Familiarity with Azure Container Registry, Kubernetes, SaltStack, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling
• Demonstrated leadership skills managing remote, cross-functional teams
