Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily client trust activity and maintain client trust files
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial statements and schedules
- Assist with interim and year-end audits, prepare schedules, and provide information to auditors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in general ledger/financial reporting, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization
- Public accounting or audit experience preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including data manipulation, advanced formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
