State Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work from home on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to Prior Authorization Requests, handling inbound calls and electronic inquiries with professionalism
• Process and Review Authorization Requests using clinical information systems to determine coverage eligibility
• Support Clinical and Pharmacy Operations by collaborating with pharmacists and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• Active National (PTCB) and/or State Board of Pharmacy Technician Licensure
• 6+ months of customer service experience with healthcare professionals
• Able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
• Must reside within PST or MST time zones
