Job Summary
A company is looking for a Support Specialist who will assist primary care/case managers with non-clinical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to newly enrolled members regarding services and equipment
- Review intake documents and escalate discrepancies as needed
- Manage member and provider communications regarding service requests and authorizations
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Experience in a Call Center or Care/Case Management Department
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
