Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work from home in Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into the computer system, including dose calculations and insurance payment processing
- Contact doctor's offices and insurance companies to ensure accuracy of specialty medication orders
- Answer patient calls to coordinate and process new medication orders and verify benefits
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months experience working in a pharmacy
- Active valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required by the State of TX
- 6+ months experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office
- 6+ months of computer keyboarding skills and aptitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent
