Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to work from home in Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into the computer system, including dose calculations and insurance payment processing
• Contact doctor's offices and insurance companies to ensure accuracy of specialty medication orders
• Answer patient calls to coordinate and process new medication orders and verify benefits

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months experience working in a pharmacy
• Active valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required by the State of TX
• 6+ months experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office
• 6+ months of computer keyboarding skills and aptitude
• High School Diploma or equivalent
