Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and closing schedules
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Manage sales tax compliance and support year-end audit activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of 3-7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment
