Senior Accountant II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant II to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review grant agreements and maintain grant information while monitoring spending and balances
• Serve as the point person for Vena financial planning software, maintaining templates and collaborating on functionality
• Handle end-of-month processes including journal entries, investment account reconciliation, and financial analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA is a plus
• 5-7 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a senior accountant role
• Public accounting experience at a large firm is strongly preferred
• Experience with non-profit accounting and proficiency in financial applications like Vena and Intacct is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with a growth mindset
