Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant on a temporary, remote basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Prepare and post complex journal entries and reconcile key general ledger accounts
• Drive improvements in daily accounting operations by identifying and implementing process efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA candidate preferred
• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public accounting and/or corporate general ledger roles
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and best practices for month-end close processes
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems
