Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting to lead its accounting, payroll, and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger reporting, month-end close processes, and compliance with GAAP
• Manage financial reporting, including annual audits and coordination with external auditors
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals while driving process improvements and system enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as NetSuite or Oracle
• Experience in a startup or tech-enabled marketplace environment is preferred
