Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Pricing Actuarial Analyst to participate in pricing and actuarial research projects for commercial property and casualty lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently analyze segments of commercial lines for profitability and trends
• Collaborate with Underwriting, IT, and Compliance departments
• Complete state filings and provide documentation of analyses

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or a financial-related field preferred
• Three to five years of actuarial experience
• Actively pursuing actuarial exams
• Understanding of property and casualty (P&C) insurance and related fields
• Adept with programming languages/software such as R, SQL, and advanced Microsoft Excel
