Senior Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Engineer for technical collaboration on Materials and Chemical Discovery using AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with developers and researchers optimizing AI models for Chemistry and Material discovery
• Collaborate with publishers of open source applications and frameworks for AI Driven Chemical and Materials discovery
• Build examples and sample applications for tutorials and collaborate on whitepapers and marketing content

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or related field (Ph.D. or Masters preferred) or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience with AI models for chemistry and material discovery using deep learning frameworks
• Proven ability to benchmark and compare domain-specific AI Models for Materials discovery
• Experience with open source projects related to MLIPs is a plus
• Background in development of chemistry/materials simulation software or generative AI for chemistry/material science is preferred
