Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Application Security Engineer to enhance application security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and manage security automation tools
• Lead the implementation of DevSecOps practices and automate security testing and monitoring processes
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, monitor security incidents, and ensure compliance with security policies and frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Typically requires 7+ years of experience in application security analysis or secure software development
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and security tooling
• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud security technologies
