Senior Backup Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Backup Administrator who will perform advanced backup duties and support storage system users.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware and server resources
• Install, upgrade, and configure backup appliances and data protection software
• Handle high priority tickets and assist with system recovery and data restores

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Experience with Dell EMC Ecosystem, including Avamar and PowerProtect
• Incident response and crisis management experience
• Ability to work in high-pressure recovery scenarios
• Familiarity with scripting/automation tools such as PowerShell or Python is a plus
