Senior Billing Clerk

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Billing Clerk/Patient Account Representative to join their Medicare Advantage Hospital Billing Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit accurate claims and resolve complex insurance inquiries and reimbursement issues
• Monitor and analyze outstanding insurance receivables to ensure optimal reimbursement
• Prepare reports and respond to billing and collections inquiries from third parties and customers

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in computer use and software, including Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of medical insurance reimbursement policies and procedures
• 1-2 years of direct experience related to hospital or professional billing
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
