Senior Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel to support legal matters related to sales and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including service agreements, software licenses, and NDAs
• Advise on intellectual property, data privacy, data security, and go-to-market strategies
• Provide input on processes and policies to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a law degree from an accredited institution and qualified to practice law as an in-house attorney
• 6+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial transactions, preferably in the tech sector
• Experience in an in-house legal department, particularly with large enterprise companies
• Knowledge of GDPR and CCPA as they relate to commercial contracts
• Understanding of cloud services and technology contracts
