Senior Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and professional development opportunities to the technical and reporting accounting team
• Manage the reporting and filing process for SEC Form 10-Q and 10-K, and other external reporting requirements
• Lead Financial M&A due diligence and ensure proper accounting treatment for transactions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA; Public accounting experience with Big 4
• 15+ years of experience in public accounting/private industry with increasing levels of responsibility
• Strong leadership skills and experience in leading meaningful initiatives
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Expert in technical accounting issues and M&A integration project management
