Senior FHIR Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr FHIR Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform healthcare data analysis and document data requirements for new data source onboarding
• Determine interoperability approaches for clinical/healthcare data and map clinical content to data standards
• Collaborate with technical resources to analyze and validate data for appropriate modeling and standards

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a Data/IT engineering role within the healthcare domain
• Familiarity with FHIR API and resources, and data mapping between HL7 v2 and FHIR
• Strong understanding of healthcare standards such as HL7 V2 messages and HL7 FHIR
• Experience with HL7 interfaces/messages and understanding of asynchronous information exchange principles
• Ability to improve conformance and quality of clinical data
