Senior Financial Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Financial Specialist to perform complex financial analysis and budget management for a hospital service line.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts complex financial and revenue cycle performance analysis to identify trends and root causes
• Advises management on financial planning and develops performance improvement recommendations
• Mentors revenue cycle analysts and maintains financial databases for reporting purposes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
• Six years of progressively responsible and related work experience
• Strong knowledge of hospital and physician revenue cycle methodology
• Proficiency in financial forecasting techniques and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with hospital information systems, including Epic
