Senior HIMS Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior HIMS Technician Acute Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and monitor workflow within the HIMS department
• Assist with the training of HIMS staff and act as a liaison between management and staff
• Ensure compliance with health information regulations and support the coding function

Required Qualifications

• One or more years of post-high school education or experience in medical records and information systems
• At least three years of related work experience in a healthcare role
• Strong technical skills in office and medical records software applications
• Knowledge of health information management practices and medical terminology
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize work effectively
