Senior Mainframe z/OS Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe z/OS Engineer (Remote/ Work from Home).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain customer environments and solve technical problems efficiently
• Assist in planning and migrating customer systems, ensuring proper handling of backups
• Install, maintain, and configure ISV products, and participate in technical infrastructure projects

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Mainframe Systems Engineer
• Strong knowledge of z/OS concepts, subsystems, and storage management
• Experience with z systems hardware and configuring LPARs using the Hardware Management Console
• Familiarity with OS upgrades, PTF deployment, and software installation
• Unrestricted work authorization without the need for future sponsorship
