Senior Manager Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Engineering Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of platform and security engineers, focusing on individual growth and team cohesion
• Define and maintain a scalable CI/CD pipeline aligned with GitOps principles, promoting collaborative decision-making
• Architect and oversee Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, emphasizing proactive problem identification and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks and incident management frameworks
• Strong background in security engineering, including OWASP and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, or Kotlin
