Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer / Networking Team Lead to oversee enterprise networking operations and lead a team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Networking Team, managing workload distribution and technical direction
• Architect, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across various environments
• Monitor network performance and resolve complex routing and switching issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or federal environments
• Proven leadership experience managing a network engineering team
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Nexus platforms and routing/switching protocols
• Strong experience with Palo Alto firewall configuration and F5 load balancers
