Senior Penetration Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Penetration Tester, Application Security (3 month contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments through detailed penetration tests on internal systems and web applications
• Analyze vulnerabilities to determine severity and provide actionable recommendations for security improvements
• Develop comprehensive reports detailing findings and insights for engineers and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network and/or application penetration testing
• Experience with boundary testing for PCI-DSS environments or equivalent
• Technical understanding of networks, cloud, encryption, and application deployment stacks
• Knowledge of standard penetration testing methodologies, including NIST SP 800-115
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, software engineering, or a related field
