Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review loan submissions and generate initial credit decisions based on guidelines
• Evaluate mortgage loan applications for eligibility and compliance with regulations
• Perform credit and property analysis, including income calculation from tax returns

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Current experience underwriting VA mortgage loans
• Government underwriting experience; CHUMS and/or SAR ID
• Direct Endorsement (DE) and/or LAPP/SAR certifications
