Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter, Retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrites loans to ensure compliance with company and investor guidelines
• Analyzes collateral and credit information to determine loan acceptability and identifies risk factors
• Communicates with clients and teams to resolve outstanding issues and maintains knowledge of investor guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Five (5) plus years of FHA mortgage underwriting work experience
• FHA Direct Endorsement designation and/or VA SAR designation highly preferred
• DU and LP experience required
• Experience in a paperless Loan Origination System environment preferred
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage loan underwriting
