Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Senior Underwriting Manager - Public Entity Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages a team of remote Public Entity Underwriters focused on education risks
• Drives a culture of underwriting excellence and change initiatives within the team
• Maintains relationships with external brokers, agents, and stakeholders to achieve team goals

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Business or equivalent typically required
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive underwriting experience, including 2 years in management preferred
• CPCU or professional insurance designation preferred
• Proven analytical ability to evaluate high impact underwriting risks
• Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking abilities
