Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Authorization Coordinator - Remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clinical departments to secure drug and procedural benefits prior to patient treatment
  • Assess and review patient treatment plans to obtain pre-certification and location approval
  • Maintain positive relationships with clinical departments while ensuring compliance with treatment plans
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Trade school, high school, or college graduate in healthcare
  • Healthcare certification or CHAA certification required within 12 months of hire
  • Two years of healthcare experience required
  • Two years of experience in health insurance authorizations, verification, or registration/billing required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 required
