Specialty Infusion Clearance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist to support their Specialty Infusion Pharmacy remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform benefit verification of patient insurance plans and document coverage details
• Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility and manage prior authorization requests
• Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple referrals
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word; knowledge of CPR+ preferred
