SQL Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL and unstructured data within the HSP technology stack
• Install, configure, and maintain database systems including SQL Server and Azure SQL
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high levels of data availability and security

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data mapping tools
• Strong understanding of database management systems and ETL frameworks
• Knowledge of database architecture, administration, and security for cloud-hosted systems
