Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to support financial health, compliance, and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial reports in compliance with GAAP and SEC guidelines
• Lead month-end close activities and serve as a liaison to external auditors
• Identify and implement process improvements for accounting operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a large public company environment
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in accounting systems and tools, with NetSuite and Blackline preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
