Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist specializing in Search & Personalization.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build the personalization engine using advanced recommendation systems and deep learning models
• Drive search conversion optimization through ranking algorithms and real-time personalization
• Lead the development of user embedding and preference modeling systems to enhance personalized experiences

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science/ML engineering, with 4+ years focused on search and personalization systems
• Expertise in recommendation systems, including collaborative filtering and modern deep learning techniques
• Proven experience in building learning-to-rank models and search relevance optimization
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and distributed computing, with experience in real-time serving systems
• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
