This role is perfect for an experienced data scientist or AI/ML engineer who wants to make a tangible impact on business strategy through advanced analytics. The Staff Data Scientist will focus on designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that optimize revenue forecasting and uncover new opportunities across global markets. Working closely with finance, commercial, marketing, and analytics teams, you will deliver scalable AI-driven solutions that improve decision-making, enhance productivity, and drive measurable business results. Accountabilities
· Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models to optimize revenue forecasts and identify new revenue opportunities.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable AI/ML solutions.
· Build robust data pipelines and frameworks for model deployment in partnership with data engineering teams.
· Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, including time series forecasting, regression, and classification.
· Continuously monitor and refine model performance to ensure accuracy and relevance.
· Stay current with AI/ML research and emerging technologies, providing thought leadership and guidance on applicability to business challenges.
· Operationalize novel AI products that improve efficiency, decision-making, and commercial strategy.
· Document best practices, model specifications, and implementation processes to support stakeholders.
· Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
· Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in commercial, financial, or enterprise contexts.
· Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
· Experience with large datasets, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and model deployment pipelines.
· Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Experience in time series forecasting, regression modeling, and classification techniques.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
· Preferred: knowledge of causal inference, Bayesian modeling, reinforcement learning, or Generative AI technologies. Experience in life sciences, biotech, or healthcare industries is a plus. Familiarity with financial planning tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP HANA) is desirable.
