Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Coach, Science Licensure Exam Preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic coaching sessions to strengthen content knowledge and study skills for licensure exams
• Support candidates in managing test anxiety and fostering academic confidence through individualized coaching strategies
• Collaborate with licensure preparation program leadership to align coaching support with coursework and program benchmarks

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate in secondary science education
• At least 3 years of experience as a certified secondary science teacher
• Bachelor's degree required
• Familiarity with licensure exams such as Praxis, GACE, NYSTCE, ILTS, PECT, or TExES
• Experience teaching or facilitating professional development for adult learners in an online environment preferred
