State Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to provide legal support focused on contracts, employment, leasing, and mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and manage an enterprise-wide contracting process
• Support Human Resources on employment law matters and manage employment-related documents
• Oversee all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including document negotiation and legal due diligence

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school and a current license to practice law in at least one state
• 5-7 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting
• Prior experience in handling mergers & acquisitions and employment law
• Experience with corporate leasing document drafting and negotiation
