A company is looking for a Tax Analyst to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete filings, reports, and reconciliations of surplus lines taxes across all states
- Maintain knowledge of surplus lines tax regulations and assist with compliance research
- Provide customer service and document all correspondence with clients and state authorities
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of filing experience or 3+ years of accounting, compliance, or insurance-related experience
- Knowledge of surplus lines is a plus
- Intermediate skills with Excel or other spreadsheet software
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills
