Texas Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel responsible for managing legal and risk affairs while ensuring compliance and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex agreements related to infrastructure development, real estate, acquisitions, and commercial services
• Oversee litigation coordination and manage regulatory matters
• Contribute to corporate governance and policy development

Required Qualifications

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar or a reciprocal state, in good standing
• At least 4 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house setting
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating agreements for infrastructure, M&A, utilities, and commercial contracts
• Preferred knowledge of Municipal Utility Districts (MUD) financing and land use regulations
• Experience with regulatory compliance matters
