Job Summary

A company is looking for a Verification Authorization Assistant to support their Home Health and Hospice team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all new referrals have insurance demographic and eligibility information entered into the electronic medical record
  • Assemble admission paperwork and accurately complete required forms
  • Obtain authorization for home care and hospice services and communicate necessary information with the Case Manager
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous office experience
  • Knowledge of computer-based data entry
  • Prior home care experience or knowledge of home care regulatory guidelines preferred
  • Experience working with insurance strongly preferred
