Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Intake Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage outpatient psychiatric services referrals and requests
• Perform prescreen assessments to determine level of care needs for referred individuals
• Assist with marketing and relationship building with referral sources

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• BA Degree in a relevant Human Services field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of employment history in Behavioral Health settings may be considered
• QMHP-A certification in the State of VA preferred
• Knowledge of behavioral health treatment settings and needs
• Proficiency in technology including medical records and Microsoft programs
