Key Responsibilities
- Balance and validate bi-weekly payroll taxes for reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes
- Support process improvement initiatives within payroll operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
- Previous experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role
- Strong expertise in local and governmental rules regarding payroll taxes
- Experience preparing journal entries
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
