Virtual Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant / Patient Advocate, Temp (afternoon/evening shift).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic, concierge-style service to patients, addressing non-clinical questions and needs
• Support providers with non-clinical administrative tasks and manage communications efficiently
• Assist patients with non-clinical prescription issues and manage prior authorizations for weight management

Required Qualifications

• Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in an administrative and/or customer-facing role
• Experience working with insurance plans and policies is a plus
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical care role preferred
