VistA Project Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VistA Project Analyst who will provide project coordination and administration for the Medical Care Collections Fund (MCCF) VistA release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities following VA policies and procedures for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Participate in PI Planning events and assist clients in building relationships with business customers
• Support Jira data entry and reporting while providing recommendations on best practices for documentation and processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related discipline
• 15 years of experience required (10 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust
• Experience with VA legacy systems, especially VistA, and familiarity with SDLC in a VA context
• Proven success in client-facing consulting roles and managing positive relationships at all levels
