Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation for Midwest Jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process Workers Compensation claims to determine benefits due
• Report claims to the excess carrier and manage claim recoveries as applicable
• Negotiate settlement of claims and ensure proper documentation and coding of claim files

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3+ years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction for IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NE, WI
