Michigan Licensed Insurance Recovery Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Insurance Recovery for a full-time remote position available to Michigan residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the Insurance Recovery Office across multiple facilities, including billing and payor audit processes
• Lead and motivate the Insurance Billing Office team to provide high-quality services and meet customer expectations
• Collaborate with team members to establish goals and implement strategies to maximize reimbursement for the health system

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field required; or 10 years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience in lieu of a degree
• Five years of management experience with healthcare accounts receivable preferred
• Knowledge of best practices related to revenue cycle operations and functionality
• Experience with insurance billing and patient accounting systems preferred
• Experience in a large, complex, integrated healthcare organization preferred
