Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist, Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjudicate claims, investigate, and negotiate settlements while monitoring and documenting claim files
- Coach and manage team members, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate training and meetings
- Analyze performance data, mediate between insured and insurance companies, and review files regularly
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred, with technical designations encouraged (AIC, CPCU)
- Experience: 5+ years in adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims; prior supervisory experience preferred
- Licensing: Active state-specific Workers Compensation License required or ability to acquire within three months of hire
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of General and Auto Liability or Workers Compensation coverages and claims processing procedures
- Technical Competencies: Strong grasp of claims principles and practices, with a focus on compliance and client experience
